Design Layout flexibility

Hi,

I would like to know if the Boonex design is flexible to:

1.        Have left menu beside the top menu

2.        Split the top menu to 2 menus horizontally or vertically.

3.        Each module have icon to represent it in the menu

4.        Each page Block will have its own theme and template.

My Best Regards

1.        Have left menu beside the top menu

Most likely, but only with custom code modification.

2.        Split the top menu to 2 menus horizontally or vertically.

Most likely, but only with custom code modification.

3.        Each module have icon to represent it in the menu

Every menu item can have it's own icon and submenu picture. However, the menu displays either icon or text, not both for the same menu item.

4.        Each page Block will have its own theme and template.

Yes. Although not documented, dolphin does have individual block design abilities as long as the site is running a single template.

3. Each module have icon to represent it in the menu

Admin>Builders>Navigation Menu

Click the name of each menu item:

  • Picture is the image that shows in the subheader when you are on that menu item's page.
  • Icon is the image icon that shows in the menu. They are generally stored in /templates/base/images/icons folder (you can firebug the existing ones to find out where they are to replace them, if you want) and are 16x16 px.

tada!

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
