Default Album Permissions

I've read quite a few threads, but can't seem to find the answer. I've also seen conflicting scenarios. Some are saying that by default the album is set to public and they want to change it to private.

My issue, is the default album created by dolphin is getting set to private (permissions to view by "Me Only").

How / Where can I change the default album to be set to "Public View"?

I've checked the following table:

sys_albums

AllowAlbumView = 3

Since it's set to public already, there has to be somewhere else that controls the default permissions of albums?

Can someone please help?

Interesting... mine is set to "3" (i.e.'Public')...same as yours.  When I attempt to add an album in both IE and FF the default is "Public".  In my Account > Privacy Settings... Photos, "Allow viewing album to:"... is also set to "Public"... is yours?

Hey Epaulo,

Thanks for the reply!

"When I attempt to add an album"

Adding an album works fine...the permissions of the album are set to public.

I'm having a problem with the default album created by boonex. The permissions of this album get set to "Me Only" by default.

I'm trying to make the default album (created by boonex) to be created with "Public" view permissions.

Any ideas?
