Date of Birth

Hi,

I've unchecked the Mandatory in Date of Birth (Profile). Asterisk star at Date of Birth disappears.

So, why is it that it keep giving me a fault message when I save and haven't set a Birth date?

I've tried set a default birth date. No impact.

 I'm not sure why it even gives you the option to make it non-mandatory, Dolphin needs it for some functions to work correctly.

Dolphin does not just check the mandatory field.  Go to advance and remove the min and max values as well.

You can remove it from the join form; I believe Dolphin will enter something like 000-00-00 or some such thing.

Keep in mind that you will also need to change the setting for required age to join the site; that needs to be set to zero as well; if you can set it to zero; Dolphin has some areas where it does not check for a division by zero error; not sure if the age would trigger anything or not.

 Also you need to make sure to remove it under the Admin tab in the builder, and all the other tabs. i.e. view profile, search..
