Database query error because add new language

I added chinese language into my dolphin 7.1.4. Ok, now my dolphin 7 can used chinese language, but any other modules can not be installed and warn "Database query error". why? and what can i do?

I can make all sorts of suggestions, but it would be better if you also post the actual error message. Just database query issue is not sufficient.

My guess is you got a bad language pack. Problems announced here.

First i would ask Nathan Paton if the developer you got it from is one of the ones selling bad packs. And if so, you should contact that developer and make them fix it.

As far as i can tell, no language packs in the market have been updated since that announcement regarding the new rules was posted 8 days ago.

Aye, this is exactly what happens when the system language file also includes keys for modules. This throws a database query error because the keys for the module already exist in the database.

 

Please contact the developer and have them fix this, or request a refund (and also have them clean-up your database). Then also message me with the details so I can make sure they update their market entry to follow the new rules.
