Hold off.. this may be a hangover from the old server, HFW has not decommissioned it yet..

Umm, No. You don't want to downgrade. That version is fine.

5.3 is fine. There is no need to upgrade unless you absolutely have to.

But it depends on what your running on the server for scripts. All versions of dolphin 7.1 and up(including trident) runs just fine on your current version. Upgrading can cause problems that may require adjustments to the server. No need to create those kinds of problems if you don't have to.

PHP 5.3 is fine for now.  However, PHP 5.3 is no longer in development; which means no fixes.  At some point the development team will need to make sure Dolphin is compatible for newer php versions.  Plus, there are some deprecations that will have to be addressed in the future.  Note that I say the future.

Security fixes are still done. Redhat themselves will do them if necessary for any distros that have that version by default if the distro is still supported. They have done it before. Most major distros will do that.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
