Data migration from other platforms

Hi folks

I need to migrate my existing social networking site (circa 10,000 members and 250+ groups) to a new platform.

As far as the brochure goes Dolphin looks good. But I'm struggling to get answers to critical questions, particularly around data migration.

Can anyone help me to learn what the in-principle requirements are (i.e. format / structure etc) to get my existing data moved across, and what limitations we'd face?

I have a budget to make this happen so would welcome responses from experts willing to offer their time for money.

Thanks

Adrian

Maybe it would also be a good idea to post this as a job offer...

I have done a member migration from an abledating site to dolphin by making mysql views of the abledating data to match the structure dolphin uses. This required a lot of joins and renaming of column names but is do able, just requires lots of hand written SQL code.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
