Custom rating for a new module

Hi all,

I have recently installed the a video broadcasting module (livestream - video whisper) and I would like to implement the voting system for this new module.

I would prefer to implement the voting/rating system that the picture, video, and audio features use.

I was examining the file codes and did a code search for "__rate__" variable and noticed the it is include in view_unit.html

Then I searched the database for "__rate__" and found some references but I'm not sure how "__rate__" relates to the picture, video, audio features.

More importantly, Im not sure how to add to this to my new livestream module.

And if possible, could I create instant votes for live video broadcasting?

Can someone give me some advice on how to implement this? I would really appreciate some help with this.

Don't you think these would be questions that you should ask the module developer?

Yes, I did think these are questions I should ask the developer and they don't support this so Im looking for another source of assistance.

Anyone, have an idea how to achieve this?
