Custom field in the Add Events page.

I urgently need to add a drop-down field in the add events form page.  I created a  pre-defined list in the backend and I want it to show up on the add events page. 

I've searched high and low in this forum and seen this type of question asked many times without any answers...not sure why!

But I would really appreciate any help I can get to achieve this.

It seems the tradition of this question not wanting to be answered continues!  Can someone at least tell me why this question always gets ignored?

The same file to remove a query will be the same to add a query, I suspect. Now if there is a need to add into the database, that's a different call.

Thank you Itsawhiz for your reply!  I took a look at the link you posted but it didn't seem to help my situation.  I tried adding a query but it didn't show up on the add events page.

Sure hope someone else can lend a hand, I would really appreciate it.
