Custom Membership

Having a problem creating custom Memberships. I have both Payments and the Membership module installed. I understand that I go to Membership hit add level, name the level, browse for icon on my computer, give description then set  a number for what order. Click ok and get a red flag on icon. Checked file on my computer make sure its unblocked. What am I doing wrong? Maybe its a file type? I am using ICO 128 by 128 pix. Is that the issue?

hmm, thats an oddone - i just created a membership level with a screenshot that i took for the image - just to see if things would work.and it did. i know myscreenshot was waybigger than 128 x 128, let me try a small image and see what happens

EDIT - just checked and my image is 1440 x 900

No even with a 128x128 png image not working. Anyone experience the same problem? Any solution? Probably easy, I must be doing something wrong.

Is this a red flag concerning order?  Membership levels order start at zero and you have to count the predefined membership when setting the order of the new membership.  I have three added levels and the order for the levels are 4,5, and 6 respectively (stating from memory but I think that is correct).

By the way, I have a problem on my site, have not tested on the demo site, with membership badges becoming corrupted when I create the level; to fix that issue, I go into /media/images/membership and just upload my correct image and rename it to the number the old image had.

It could be the image converted does not have the correct header in the file.  How did you convert the ico to png?

Okay, just wanted to respond with the results, not to leave everyone hanging on this for too long. It would be smart to check your file on your computer to see if it has proper permissions before trying to transfer the images from that file. Although ICO probably would not have worked as well as the PNG or JPG anyhow. I was able to create the membership levels and transfer the pngs with a size of 32x32 and it worked well, just not from the original folder. TY everyone for the assistance all of you are great. Does anyone know the definition of an Overachiever? You don't have to answer that!!!!
