Country by default

Hi

I just noticed my page is set by default on the home page to US, I changed it in the settings to AUST for Australia, but it wont change, am I missing something.

That setting determines the the default country that will be used when a new member signs up on the site if they do not select a country. It will not change any existing accounts.

If you talking about something else, you need to explain in detail and provide a screenshot pointing it out.

You mentioned the home page. I do not see anything on the default dolphin home page where the country is even displayed. So you will have to provide a lot more detail on what your looking at.

As people join and select what country they are from you will see more flags. For example the browse page on my site. http://www.deanbassett.com/browse.php

That just means you have 7 members that have selected US as their country.

Test for yourself. Create a new account and make sure you select a county when you join that is different from the ones currently showing up on the browse page. Then you will see it is showing you a count of members by what country they have selected.

I think you are misunderstanding what those links are on that page. Anyhow. As i mentioned. Changing the default country is not going to change the country for the members that have already signed up.

Im only wanting it to show 1 country 'Australia" as my site caters only for aussies.

So im needing that to reflect the Australian Flag
