Chat Counter

Hi,

we've installed a chat counter in our Dolphin and it worked fine. Since some time it doesn't update the current chatter number anymore. I'm not sure who made the addon, I think it was called "Chat Counter" but I couldn't find anything in the market.

Anyone an idea if it's still there? Or any other solutions?

 The market has been cleaned up recently.

If the module creator was no longer supporting/active, meaning not responding to request from customers or moderators, those have been removed.

The member may have removed the modules themselves. A lot of the modules are disappearing from the market.

What would help is knowing your Dolphin version, and then looking at your modules list in the admin section will tell you the vendor and module version number.

thanks for your reply. If it would be so easy, I would be happy :) I can tell you that I am running Dolphin 7.1.4.

The module is not listed under modules, it was installed manually by some manual. If I am not totally mistaken it was from either Daenos or rayzz. It's a small flash script in the footer and a javascript counter beside the chat link.

I'll check again if I can find any copyrights or similar.

The include code on the page is like this

rz_chat_summary_apply_menu("Chat", 0);

for the flash applet, can't find anything else. rz might been rayz??

is this a chat counter that shows on the homepage? if so I am so interested in something like that to.

it adds the number of current chatters behind the Chat link like "Chat (8)"

Sadly it doesn't work anymore for some time now

I am betting that one of the fine developers here at Boonex can get this fixed for you with little effort.  I have witnessed these guys pull off miracles. 

I would like to have the number of chatters in the stats block as well as where this one was displayed. 

Any takers to hook us up? I have a few dollars to throw that way, just not a lot. 

I will be try to figure this out, but my knowledge base is minute.

I found the mod, its caller "Chat Summary" and is offered by Rayz.

I know I will be ordering this product, and asking if he can add a feature.
