Change the Admin email and username

Is this possible to do? And what is the easiet way to do this?

Edit your profile: Account => Account Control (block) => Edit Profile.

You may need to add the Username field to the profile edit page in the profile fields builder. Do note that changing the username sorta breaks some things like the forums (your posts will not be carried over with the change).

The current admin and username is from the overseas developer who originally helped us set up the website. we just want to change the username and email address tied to the main admin account.. Is this the best method? If you could provide a simple step by step on how to do this that will be great!!

Nathans' recommendation is the best way to do what you want to do. For step by step:

1 - go to your site and login with the current admin credentials.

2 - go to Edit profile and change the username and password here.

2a - If these fields are not visible, go to your admin section - Builders - Profile Fields -> Edit Profile -> cllick the admin bubble

2b - Drag the username and password fields from the inactive area to the active area.

Note - as Nathan stated, there may be things that will not carry over because they are dependent on the Username as opposed to the User ID
