Cannot view profiles on standard membership level

I have "view profiles" enabled for standard membership. Yet I cannot view profiles, not even my own. They all say "Profile not available for view"

On my promotional membership level (which has everything enabled), I can view profiles just fine. So it appears something else needs to be activated for the standard level.

Any ideas?

Now I think the problem is more serious. I have everything enabled and I am still unable to view profiles. I can't even view my own and it's set to public.

Also, I switched to promotional membership which has everything enabled as well, and still nothing. Not even admin can view profiles.

I tried going into admin -> setings -> privacy settings and unchecking all the options and checking them again. No change.

I hope something isn't horribly wrong. I just had a migration done not too long ago.

Any ideas?

taking a shot here. in the modules directory there is an index.php file.

look at that file and see if there is an extra CRLF after the ?> closing php tag?

i had this issue on a site, where it was creating a javascript popup that was completely blank. so just check, or for a more bold move, rename the existing and replace it.

as a test, i renamed --> /modules/index.php to __index.php

then i clicked on one of the links from stats, i opted for Sites

the page loaded and said "Profile Not Available for View"

then named the index page back, and it loaded the sites.

so i think this may help. give it a try anyhow.

No extra CLRF. I tried renaming the index to _index.php and then back to the original name, no luck.

I tried creating a new membership level with everything enabled, and applied that membership level to my test account.

Still can't view profiles.

Anyone have any ideas on this? Currently no one on my website is able to view any profiles. Even the admin account has the same problem
