Cannot Reply on a Review Here? DUMB!

What's the point of even having a "Reply" Button on product reviews here on the market if it doesn't allow the buyer to respond again?

I mean basically it goes like this-

BUYER- "I bought this product and it totally blows, and doesn't work properly as it should...Blah, Blah, Blah!"

VENDOR- "OH, No worries, I fixed ALL the problems and everything is fine now."

AND THEN- When the buyer tries to respond to say- "No it doesn't, it's still broken, you haven't done jack to fix diddly....."

It will not allow the buyer's reply and gives a message- "You already posted a review here"

That's totally DUMB and allows broken products to be sold in the market here at Boonex and largely keeps new-comers in the dark and unawares!

yes i think so too!

you can't respond to a reply.. but i think that is done to avoid a bunch of tekst msgs.

that is why you can send a PM to the vendor.

well, normally there will be a support forum for each mod so you can bring issues to light and the developer can update of fixes etc.

The review part is just so you can give a 'one-time' review of the module you purchased! It's not meant to be the place to discuss issues ...

Just to let people know, I was looking through the mods market and if there were guaranteed updates, I would spend thousands of dollars and buy every single one of the mods.

well over years I have purchased over 30 modules from market and it must have cost me $3000 - $4000 if not more!

You want everyone right? ... Do you have $50,000 + just for mods ?!

Just to point out-

The motivating factor for my post is due to the fact that the developer has not yet created a Forum Topic for his mod with issues...

In addition, Sending a PM in the past is a coin toss- I may get a message back I may not....Many times the messages are not responded to promptly...weeks sometimes....and usually an excuse along with it of course.

AND

Bottom Line- The current way the reviews are setup undermines the integrity of the Boonex Market and GOOD VENDORS suffer as well....Buyers have reason to be leery about spending their hard-earned money....THUS giving reason for prices for mods to go up rather than remain a fair level or go lower.

It's not a good recipe for success really, Is it?

That's how I see it anyway Frown

What's the spills over?

Nathan will end up having to deal with more disputes.....

OR

The passive buyers and those buyers with little time on their hands to deal with issues basically just move on with sour thought about the market here.

PS- I too have $3000 - $4000 spent here.....and imagine the cost is even more in time for a broken $150 Mod- Very Sad! Frown

when you visit the market listing (for the actual mod you purchased) you should see 'forum' button ....

Most developers do have this ... I know some don't and personally I think all modules sold at the market should have support forum as standard so I do totally understand your frustration if the module you have issues with does not have support forum for it ...

Yeah I have purchased some expensive modules also in past to realize they didn't quite work as described or functions broken etc ... I have stressed at Boonex before about webmasters spending good money for at times little in return..

Saying this ... I know there are some very good developers here too and these issues kind of tar them with same brush! It is sad I agree ... What makes me mad is when you spend $150 or more on one module to find things broken an not fully tested by the developer :/

not 50,000 but about 3-5 thousand. but as I grow, then yeah I would like all of them. I'm not gonna complain anymore. I am happy with how dolphin is right out of the box.Kiss

See ... when I first used Dolphin I was buying mods every chance I got ... but the truth is after sometime I realized half of them was not really needed ... my advice it not to go to crazy when buying! One moment you might see BIG things happening for you if you was to buy whatever and the next you might realize they don't match with your plans right and end up not being used at all ....
