Can you replace entire admin folder with one from 7.0.5 software

So I upgraded to 7.0.5...and now nothing in my admin is working properly.

I have ruled out issues with templates or 3rd party modules.

Is it possible for me to simply replace the entire admin folder with a new admin folder from the 7.0.5 software?

Would this create any issues or concerns?

I've had to do that before. Try this... rename your admin folder to something else and then upload a new copy. If everything is working fine the you should be safe deleting the old copy.
