Hi all, newbie question again.
Have members that want to participate to an event.
When they choose to participate, they're put in a list and have to be donfirm by admin, wich is ok.
Thing is that, when admin wants to "confirm" the member, it still turning, as if it was doing an update, but never ends, still turning and turning.
Also, can't use the "manage fans" button ???
What do I did wrong, again :(
Thanks in advance. Gas

Try turning off all caching. What changes have you made to your site? Are you using a custom template? caredesign.net |
All caching is turned off.
Yes, using a custom template.
For the changes, made a lot, probably did something I should'nt. :(

does problem persist when using default UNI or ALT template? caredesign.net |
I've loaded UNI, and have the same problem except for the "manage fans' button that tells me that there's nothing to show.
Another thing. I've seen, while using UNI that, when the member click "participate", there's a text appearing telling the member that he was participating, I don't have this message with my template. ??

It seems your template is not 100% compatible with Dolphin. Ask the developer you bought the template from to fix it.
If you did it yourself, please make sure your template uses the same same id's as the default templates that come with Dolphin (uni and alt). If you do not use the same id's, it can cause issues with modules that use ajax to update content.

Thanks Denre but it's surely something I've done wrong, cause it worked before.
I'm trying to find if there's a permission I didn't give, or something like that, but didn't find anything yet.
Thanks for your advice !

What do you mean by something you have done wrong? Do you mean you have modified Dolphin files outside of the template? Or do you mean that you have modified the template? If you think you have done something to the template, you can rename the template on the server by putting a dot in front of the name (hiding the file if on a Unix/Linux based server) and then uploading the template fresh from the developer. If you see the problems disappear, then you know your changes to the template caused the problem and you can start fresh trying to modify the template.

Thanks geek_girl
Answer is "I have modified the template" .
I may try what you suggested, replacing the template with original but, truly, even if it works, won't tell me where rhe issue comes from :(
I've made a lot of modifs to the template and can't restart from scratch.
Will see.
Thanks for you time :)

If it can help somebody:
I simply uninstall the module ( events ) and re-installed it.
After all, I never found the problem but it has been solved bt itself :)
Thanks to all !
