 Hi, When I try to add another group to my forum (Manage forum>New Group) I keep getting an alert box that says "can not add new group". I am logged in as the administrator and have full privileges set. I tried to look at the code, but it's too confusing. I am running the most current version of Dolphin (7.0.5), but I'm not sure what else I can do to fix this. Any ideas? |
Adding to what I said above, I have also tried to uninstall/reinstall the orca forum module. Same problem. Is there a fix for this? |
You can't create a new forum directly from group's orca forum. You should add group from used this url - http://you_site.com/m/groups/browse/my&bx_groups_filter=add_group PS: After creation of that group forum will create automatically! When I try the same thing on the demo site the group creation works fine (Manage Forum > New Group). But on my site it does not. Manage Forum > New group should work just fine, but instead the system is telling me that I can't create a new group. The "General" group is there (was created during install of forum module) and there is one forum contained within it. But I want to be able to create another group, say "Web Page Development", which I can add other forums too. But the system keeps coming back with "can not add new group". I included a screen shot here. Any other suggestions? Thanks. |
