Can not login to admin!

I have been searching on here for a while for an answer to this question, but I can not seem to find an answer that works... Here is my delema: I was able to login to the administration area a few weeks ago and now when I enter my user name and password it says "Please Wait" and goes to a white screen after a minute or so. I can login to the front end of the website and everything seems to be working great.

I am running the newer version of Boonex, I found someone who had a similar problem... this is the response he got: (Keep in mind this was back in 2008)

2 ways..open phpmyadmin and go to a profile that you know the password edit and copy the md5 IE:3093joij593ut3508j30

take that to the admins table and edit the only entry there...if there is one...insert the md5 into the password field.

if there isnt one choose insert from the top and fill it out.

or make a php file upload it  then run it....www.yoursite.com/pass.php  ,,change yoursite to your url

insert below into notepad and then save as type "all" nd name it pass.php then upload it to root where htacess and about_us.php etc. are then login with admin dolphin and change it immeditely after your in..log out and log bacl in

<?php
include( "inc/header.inc.php" );
include( "inc/db.inc.php" );
db_res( "TRUNCATE TABLE `Admins`" );
db_res( "INSERT INTO `Admins` (`Name` ,`Password`) VALUES ('admin', MD5( 'dolphin' ))" );
?>

I tried both of these:

On the first one... There does not seem to be an Admins table to paste the MD5 password into
On the second one... I got an error reading:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare db_list_tables() (previously declared in /home/content/m/y/w/mywebsite/html/V7/inc/db.inc.php:31) in /home/content/m/y/w/mywebsite/html/V7/inc/db.inc.php on line 34

I have even tried manually clearing the cache... nothing seems to help. Has anyone had this problem before? How to I get back into my admin area?

Please Help!!! Thanks, Scott

Try using the instructions that HoustonLively posted in another thread

log into your site as admin on the user side, then go directly to yoursite,com/administration/advanced_settings.php

You have to set Admin --> Advanced Settings --> Other --> Show boonex news in admin panel: To 0

This is assuming you're using D7.x.x

Good luck : )

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
