You have to clear cache through ftp or your file manager in cpanel. Admin cache cleaner does NOT work. You possess an intuitive intelligence so powerful it can help you heal, and relieve stress. |
If you are using "memcache" cache engine - then cache can not be cleared ! Then you need to switch to regular file based cache, do module installations/uninstallations/etc, and after 1 hour switch back to "memcache" After 1 hour all cache files in memcached server are expired and automatically deleted.

Thanks, I figured this out today already...forgot about the memcache I had enabled. I set back to default went to Admin panel and cleared all caches, they cleared and the errors went away. I was able to remove the modules again. Although I did not wait the hour as you suggested as I was working on this this morning, seemed to work right after I cleared the cache. Then I re-enabled the memcache and all is perfect again.. @Lightwolf, I have read everyone saying to do it that way. I have never had too, this has been my only problem I've had clearing the cache. I think this should be explained in more detail somewhere..
