There may be some confusion.

Phrase used. "My site is setup with cpanel"

Thing is, cpanel has nothing to do with your site. It is a hosting control panel and has nothing to do with dolphin at all.

cpanel was part of my site

 Interesting!!

Contact your hosting (provider) and ask them about it.
weird that business use trail for clients. My thought is when Cpanel is gone that you still are able to use your site.
Only issue you will have = how you have access to your backend/DB/site.. maybe only ftp

The thing is, my site was copied over to my new provider !!

I think there is some confusion here.  Before we do anything, we need to be clear on things.

Are you thinking about your Dolphin control panel/admin panel?  Are you seeing that your site license is now in trial?

By cPanel, do you mean your hosting control panel, or do you mean your Dolphin admin panel? If this is for your hosting control panel (NOT Dolphin), you need to contact your host.

Edit: Just saw your reply. So if this is your hosting control panel, please contact your host.

Dolohin 7.1 and above run as a free, unlimited trial. There are no feature or time limits, and the only thing different is the small floating banner on the front of the site. Adding a paid license to Dolphin removes this banner. Free licenses do not work anymore.

If you're Dolphin sire was previously licensed, try resetting the license from your BoonEx.com account and re-adding it to your site.

Contact Cpanel support. (or the hosting provider) Think it might be the 15 day trial period for cpanel. They will reply within a few hours or up to a couple days. Maybe the new hosting provider doesn't offer free Cpanel or the cpanel license needs to be switched to the new IP address. My Cpanel license is $14.95 per month because my host doesn't offer it.

If you need cPanel to handle your server, then you might want to look at changing hosts again.  Since you are paying close to $15.00 a month just to have cPanel you could figure that into the price of any other hosting.  There are a couple of Boonex members here that offer hosting, Zarconia, and Dective08; they might have a plan that would suit your needs.

cPanel is not free, it comes with licensing; some providers roll the license fees into the hosting accounts and offer free cPanel to their customers.

every server I have dealt with has come with CPanel. I have also changed hosting companies quite a few times. But never has the cPanel from one server been transferred to another. My last move - the new host asked if I wanted them to migrate everything to new server and I said no. After reading your post, I am glad I did not let them do it. It seems like they just did a complete backup of your old server and restored it on your new server. Which is why that old cPanel is jacked (you have new ip address and everything else on new server). I personally would start from scratch. Make a backup of your site and database, then have the new server company erase everything and start over - but with no migration from old server. Then go in and load your backup of your site and database. Thats just how I have always done it because I did not want to take a chance the something not needed was pulled in or screwed up.

That's not what would happen, at least with any competent host. cPanel includes a utility to import or copy an account from another cPanel server, which is likely what they meant. This method keeps all files, databases, FTP/email/web disk accounts and misc. settings as they were. Some other cPanel configurations can also be safely copied over, like EasyApache profiles.

If OP's cPanel says it's a trial, it's because the host didn't buy or pay for the license. cPanel licenses are tied to IP addresses, so if the IP address of the server doesn't have a valid license, it will either run as a limited-time trial or disallow logins. That's why if he is having issues with cPanel, he needs to contact his host.
