Bottom Menu - Extra Rows

Is there a simple way to add more rows to bottom menu

I have a module that worked well with 7.0.9 but it is not compatible and does not work with 7.1.4

Not with the default builder but search the forum here as there are discussion on changes to the bottom menu.

I checked the forums but no simple real working  solution for 7.1.4
