Boonex Header/Footers removed message

I have a custom template installed at my domain gethott.com.  This has been installed and working perfectly for several weeks.  A few days ago I added a splash/join page to the site which was purchased from the market.  Ever since I have had this message on my "index.php" homepage:

"1 You have manually removed BoonEx footers without paying for the right to. Please, go to BoonEx.com and order the ad free licenses to be able to use your site without BoonEx footers. They will be automatically removed as soon as you register your ad free licenses. Please, put the __boonex_footers__ key back into Dolphin template"

I asked gorpus about the message.  He said it wouldn't be the cause of his splash/join page installation, and I agree.  So in an attempt to remedy this I decided to purchase the unlimited license from boonex.  The message clearly states that this will fix the problem.  I removed my free license code from admin panel, clicked save, logged out, logged back in, and entered my add free license code.  The message is still there!  So I put in a support ticket here at boonex.  Somebody accepted the ticket, but they weren't very helpful.  They simply said that my logo and link is now showing at the bottom of my pages.  So the license must be functioning properly.  He suggested that I ask for help from gorpus.  Then he just closed my ticket lol.

So please.  If anybody has a solution to this problem, or can offer me any real help at all I'd really appreciate it!

Thank you!

How odd - the rest of your site is fine but just the index.php page has the Boonex message. I've no suggestions unfortunately, but thought it might be helpfu lfor a third-party to confirm it's a problem. By the way, your main background image is 1.36mb... that's pretty big, you might want to look into that to improve pageload times.

Yes it is very odd!  Thank you for looking at least.  Yes that backround image is part of the template I purchased.  It is large, but I like it.  I will try to get the file size down some.  Pages of my site do load rather slowly.  Right now I'm more concerned with not having a homepage though lol.

Just a thought: Did you un-install the splash page before putting in the license and clear cache at every step of the way?

also try to switch back to the uni template and see if that resolves the license problem, if so then let gorpus know there is something wrong with the _footer or _sub_footer call.

Thank you for your replies everyone.  I'm glad to say the issue has been resolved.  Turns out it was somehow the cause of my original template.  Gorpus was kind enough to fix the problem for me even though it was not an issue with his product!  I highly recommend his market products!  Excellent products and support!
