 Hi i'm having problem with a memebr in mysite I ban hem 5 times and delete the account from the member but he still login to my site and spamimg the blogs with 50 blogs how I can stop spamers like hem I ban hem but he still login to the site
I check the ban list and I see the nick name in red and is ban how he can still login to the site
how I can stop this spamers I thing is better blocking memebr using the PC ID

yeal they all from china I did that but they still login to the site all the blogs they make some of the worlds have link when I click the link is taking me to some china website I love china but this spamer are driving me nuts making spam in my blogs

I get a lot of these also. They are probably using a lot of different proxy servers and so banning IP wouldn't be useful. If they are using the same IP then it makes sense. A good idea might be for someone to create a module that will put any post with certain keywords into a queue for admin to accept before publishing it. Most of the spams I get are on Ugg boots and Nike shoes etc... Another idea might be to put all users with certain types of emails from needing to go through admin acceptance process. A lot of the spammers are using .cn or 163.com emails. If a lot of us are interested in it we might get someone in here to develop a module. Please write to show your interest. |

Such "bad words" (that includes URLs and email addresses) filter is requested since a long time and is planed to be part of Dolphin 7.1...
