Bad Dolphin

flipping thing isnt working correctly, for some reason, my flash uploaders arnt working or any other uploader to mention it, which makes avatars and basic images redundant,  

someone mentioned i needed rms installed on my sever so i got it and enter the info and still nothing, what the hell,  also the profile status doesnt work

More like Bad Installation or server does not meet proper dolphin server requirements.

Go into admin under tools then to host tools. See if any problems are reported.

Who is your host?

Did you install by hand or an auto installer?

If not. Then you may need to install again.

If you installed with a FTP client, you may want to try a different one. Corrupt files during upload can sometimes happen and if even one file did not properly upload it can affect the entire site.

Oh and a URL to your site would help also so we can see if anything stands out as a cause.

And some hosts do not support JS compression which is on by default in dolphin. So go into admin->Settings->Advanced Settings then to templates and shut it off and see if that makes any difference.

i got new hosting from HOSTFORWEB - its reccomended on the dolphin download page, and it had auto install on it, i did what you said and i got these results

5.3.13 - WARNING (your PHP version is outdated

magic_quotes_gpc = On - WARNING (should be = Off)

php accelerator = NO - WARNING (Dolphin can be much faster if you install some php accelator))

everything else was ok, but i got this too

The only one that needs to be corrected is the magic quites setting But that is not the cause of all your problems.

You need to check the permissions in host tools as well. Not just the audit.

However. The use of the auto installer is most likley the problem. Those auto installers malfunction quite often.

I would remove it and reinstall by hand from a full zip version obtained here.

Hostforweb may be able to do a manual install for you. Ask them.

I checked your site. Javascript errors all over the place.

Your going to need to remove that install. It is no good. A manual install is needed with a custom php.ini file to deal with the magic quotes and the date.timezone problem your latest error is showing.

Check with your host and see if they offer manual installs.

No it does not. As a general rule. If a feature is not listed in the market entry, then most likely the mod does not have it.
