Background isnt changing

I changed the background in common css and in general yet it is still white.  When I go to the firebug it also says FFFFFF as if the update didnt go in.  When I look at the url of the css it doesnt say general.css it says "http://boroughbuddies.com/gzip_loader.php?file=bx_templ_css_5bc09e08b87211e0eeabcd1580834bcd.css" so I would like to know is this the issue or is it something else?

You need to go to your FTP and clear out your cache, cache_public and tmp folder.  Be sure to leave the .htaccess files in the folders.  When you are doing design or development work, it'll be less of a Pain in the A if you just turn all of the caching off.  If you don't do this, you'll have to clean our your cache folders everytime you want to view a change that you've made.

I know that you may see that Dolphin has a Clean Cache feature in the Panel, but this feature doesn't seem to work particularly well.  The file that you are seeing in Firebug is a cached CSS file.
