Back after a year....Impressed but confused..lol

Things seem to be picking up around here since I was last here. I have installed that latest release and am glad to see things are running a lot smoother, (Good work Boonex). I do have a question...What file now do I alter to replace my logo with a .swf file? Don't believe it's in same place as my last Dolphin site.

I actually think it's been quite dead here. Worse this month than last month. Like posts from 22 hours ago. http://www.boonex.com/forums/ still on the first page. That is not normal. Way below what i would call active.

Not sure how you were replacing your logo. But i don't believe there are any change there. The logo in the 7.0.x versions was in _sub_header.html and it's still there in the 7.1.x versions as well.

Thanks Deano.. Well it seems somethings have been fixed since last time. It's not like the old days of constant entertainment..hahaha.

I just checked the files from my last dolphin site and my logo script for .swf flie is not injected in that file. Any place else you can think of to look? Been checking my files and have not found it yet but I know I placed this code in last dolphin install. I have old site still on my pc.

Then it may be possible the function that generates the logo was altered or replaced.

In 7.0.x series versions of dolphin. That is function getMainLogo() in inc/design.inc.php.

In current 7.1.x versions it has been made part of the template system. The function is now function genSiteLogo() in templates/base/scripts/BxBaseFunctions.php

One thing you will need to be aware of in case your not already.

Do not attempt to use any old templates from dolphin 7.0.x on 7.1.x. They will not work. The entire template system has been re-designed.
