Avatars not working

Can anyone help me please?  I just put up the Dolphin software and I can't make it show avatars.  I upload my pic and it doesn't show.

are the pre-installed avatars showing up?

1. would look at your file upload size and compare that to the size of the file you are trying to upload.

need to make sure your permissions are all correct on your installation.

did you crop it and then submit. When someone uploads avatars many forget to crop it, even it is in avatar size, still you need to submit it using this tool .

Thanks DosDawg and elcentcom - I reached out to the company I purchased the template from (I installed a new one) because the avatars would show in the old template but not in the new one.  The template company fixed it.  I don't even really know what they did - but here was their explaination:

"I managed to fix it, the problem was because of some kind of incomplete/corrupted files during upload, mixed with some cached files - I think the broken or missing files were replaced with the ones from the UNI template inside the cache folders.. Well it's fixed now.."

I purchased it from DolphinTemplate.com - I was happy with the response speed and help they gave.
