Avatar upload...

After a avatar upload, i get the 2 different avatar look. One to the right that say this is your avatar. And the one to the left say this is your avatar. But that one to the left does not have any uploaded avatar. And you have to leave the page to get the new avatar to be visible.

Why doesn't the uploaded avatar be on both?

This can maybe be a problem for new people that they think that have to upload an avatar again to get this to work.

I have an images after the first upload. Look at it. Is this default?

No. On the left in the block that says current avatar you should see your current avatar.

Works properly on my site.

I would start with the thing that causes the most problems in dolphin. Turn off JS and CSS caching and compression then clear caches. Leave the options off and test again.

I run my site with caching off. I do not experience even a fraction of the problems most people complain about.

Yes. You right. But i'm also working with magento and they tell me to use cache to speed up the site.

Ok after i turn the cache of i get this to work. Thanks again.

But what about speed here then?

JS caching is the number one cause of many problems related to dolphin. When the option in dolphin does not work properly it is usually a server issue. The most likely cause is the host is already doing some kind of compression with that and the two conflict with each other.

The exact reason has not been determined, it only happens on some servers.

However you will not notice much of a speed difference. To me, and this is the reason i have it off is performance and stability to me out weighs load speed.

And what does magneto have to do with dolphin? From my research magneto is a eCommerce script. It's own script and your setting in dolphin have no effect on other scripts.

Deano was talking about the js caching in Dolphin Admin, not a php server cache such as eAccelerator.
