Avatar showing but module not installed

Strange, I haven't installed the avatar module, still when I browse to http://mysite/m/photos/browse/album/Foto-s-Belshof/owner/xxx I can see the avatar showing up.

When I click on it I'm redirected to the Avatar page.

How is this possible when avatar module is NOT installed ?

I tried to change avatar to foto in language settings, but that doesn't work either.

Any solution ?

If the avatar module is not installed, then Dolphin will use the profile photo for the thumbnail of the user.  However, it should not redirect to the avatar module when you click on it if the avatar module is not installed.  Could you provide a screenshot of the page that you are redirected to when clicking?

But I think I already found the problem.

At first I had the Avatar module installed, but I uninstalled it afterwards.

In the profiles which were created when the module was installed, the avatars are still there. All the other profiles (after uninstalling the module) have the profile picture.

Guess I must delete all the avatar images from the database and upload new pictures instead.

You are correct because before when it was installed there is a check box that says "copy to profile photos" when adding avatar

copy to profile photos

So it was copied and automatically named as avatar.

Correct, it was taking you to the photo album, not the avatar module. Expertzkris explained why it was called Avatar; copy avatar to profile album was one of the first things I removed when I set up Dolphin.

I have the same problem but I cannot get the profile photos to work. The album is not created. Though ADMIn I can see the photo but not through the user panel.

Can anyone help ... getting desperate

If you have the photo module installed, the profile photo album is created automatically when a person joins the site.
