I just saw that the .htaccess file is missing
I did create one with this content:
Options -MultiViews ErrorDocument 404 //modules/boonex/avatar/data/232035.php
Options -MultiViews ErrorDocument 404 //modules/boonex/avatar/data/190044.php
but still get that error

Hello make sure that /home/adult/public_html/modules/boonex/avatar/data/images/ have a writable permissions! PS: If possible do not write me personally, please try to ask on the forum first |
@Sasha, thanks :-)
they do, but I do not see a .htaccess file in the avatar folder
what should be written in the .htaccess file?
I get also the following warning when I try to crop a uploaded photo as avatar:
Warning: imagejpeg() [function.imagejpeg]: Unable to open '/home/xxxxt/public_html/modules/boonex/avatar/data/images/505i.jpg' for writing: Permission denied in /home/xxxxxt/public_html/inc/classes/BxDolImageResize.php on line 264

1. /home/adult/public_html/modules/boonex/avatar/data/images/ doesn't contain some .htaccess file
2. "get also the following warning when I try to crop a uploaded photo as avatar:" - make sure that all these directories have writable permissions (777 or 755)
/home/xxxxt/public_html/modules/boonex/avatar/data/images/
/home/xxxxt/public_html/modules/boonex/avatar/data/

The error says it all.
Permissions.
boonex/avatar/data/images
And
boonex/avatar/data/tmp
Both must be writable. Mode 777.
And no. There is not supposed to be a .htaccess file in the images folder.
Now. One other thing to consider. If your site was transferred to another server or restored from a backup the permissions may be wrong on existing image files preventing them from being replaced. So make sure all existing images in boonex/avatar/data/images are also writable. Technically existing images files are supposed to be owned by the apache web server but sometimes when moving files or restoring from backup the ownership changes on the images preventing apache from accessing them.
