Does anyone know if there's a way of automatically subscribing someone to updates when they start and/or comment on a forum topic? My members don't understand that if they start or join in on a topic that they must also 'subscribe' to that topic in order to be notified about new comments. (We're having issues of people posting questions and then when they don't get an email they just assume that nobody has replied to it).
I understand why people may want to turn this feature off, but to me when you post a topic or a reply it would be good to give members a "notify me about new comments" tick box that could either be ticked or unticked by default so at least they see the option without having to be 'trained' to subscribe as a separate action
