Another 'menu' question.

How does one get rid of all the links in the submenu/submenu? For instance you click on polls home, where the polls icon rests, there is the submenu links repeated, altho ALL those links are already in the main sub menu. It only clutters up the page and creates confusion. Better to only have 1 sub menu as opposed to repeated menus all over the page.

Go to administration, navigation menu and remove the ones you don't want from each main menu drop down... (drag n drop them to the lower half of the page).

In fact, if you fart around with it a bit, you might be amazed at what you can do, even without reading any instructions....

You may be referring to the breadcrumb menu?

 Yes, I guess it may be called breadcrumb menu. It pops up after each navugation to a different page , but the links inside it are already in the main submenu.

OK nevermind , I found it...I just had to go into the navigation_menu.html and remove this code

<div class="sys_sub_menu" style="width:__main_div_width__;">
    <div class="sys_sm_cnt bx-def-margin-sec-leftright">
        <bx_injection:injection_sub_menu_before />
            __sub_menu__
        <bx_injection:injection_sub_menu_after />
    </div>
</div>
Thanks.

OK, if this is the submenu; like the one found on the bar with the profile avatar and status message; that menu is specific to the user;  if the profile owner clicks, they go to Their Stuff; when a member goes to that menu, they see different links for "viewing".  You may not want to remove that menu.

Why don't you leave the breadcrumb, and just remove the sub menus from the main navigation menu.  It adds a click to get to a sub menu item, but it's less confusing to users.
