Allow Joining only with Coupon Code

Hey everyone,

Is it possible to have validation the join form, whereas if the person trying to register doesn't have a valid coupon code they get rejected? How can this be done? PHP? I saw a module called Coupons and Membership Voucher but it doesn't really give me what I want.

Anyone knows?
