Admin poll submission?!?

I'm wanting to create a custom page with soundcloud players in column 1 and a poll in column 2 -this is for a competition on the best audition - is there anyway of creating a poll that members can see and vote on but not allowing them to make polls?

ie site polls but not public polls?

For the default Polls mod that comes with Dolphin, you can disable the ability to create Polls for all membership levels. This is done in the Admin Panel by going to Settings => Membership Levels and clicking on the "Actions" link.

You can also checkout the Advanced Polls mod.

Where can i find the area to input poll information in the admin panel?

If you mean create a poll using the standard poll module, that is done in the frontend.

If you are going to use the standard poll module by Boonex, then you disable poll for all membership level except one.  You create a new membership level and add all the things you want for that membership level including create polls.  You make that membership level non-purchasable and assign it to yourself.  That will give you the ability to create polls but not your members.

I have no idea about Modzzz's poll module, I would visit the support forum and ask questions.

I already created an additional membership called VAU Staff and done exactly this but cannot see poll submission forms anywhere in the admin panel not even under the Polls module

There is no backend form, just a list of polls.  You would create a poll by logging in at the front end and then going to the polls section and clicking on Add Poll.  You add a poll through the frontend.

If you want polls to only be from the main admin, then only the main admin of the site should be grated that membership level.  Otherwise, the poll will be listed as being from the user that created it.

I have tried alsorts and here is what i see in the admin panel as the Original ADMIN account of the site.

With the default Polls mod, you cannot add polls from the admin panel. You will have to go to http://www.yoursite.com/m/poll/ and you will see an "Add Poll" button.

i tried that and there is no add polls button....i got so fed up of it i went and just purchased your mod ..modzzz.

Worked first time round and was able to use deano tools to insert it into a custom page! just need to try make it so its a just a voting block as can be seen here:  http://voiceartistsunited.com/page/VOTVAU-Votes

i need to make the block the single poll with no options or home block on that page and i need to make it so that logged in members can vote only!

There will be audio players in column 1 with entries for people to listen to and vote for thier favourite on the right.

but to encourage sign up we want to make it member only appearance and i think i may be able to do that with page access.
