Hi

Is it possible to make groups; like Moderator, super member, member?

with restrictions? and why cant Admin edit another profile, without going to admin panel?

You can create a new membership level for moderators and assign more permissions to it.

We do have it, but we bought the mod from our agent...

As for editing other peoples' profiles, in fact I believe it is only possible trough admin panel, maybe someone can explain better why (legal issues maybe?)

Yes it is possible to create Membership Levels that you can name as Moderator, Super User, etc. as stated by Magnussoft.

 

To edit a members profile you have to go to that person's "edit profile" page which means either you have to be logged in as that person, or access the member from the Admin Panel. Thats just the way it is.

 

The only other way of doing that is for someone to create a mod that provides a "edit member" button in the Actions block listed on the member's profile page that is only visible to site administrators.. This button would essentially do the same thing as the link from within the Admin Panel. But I have not seen one of them yet.
