Adding admin

Hi ,

Once again sorry guys i'm trying to catch up with everything here lol , anyway how can i make a member to be an Admin on site ONLY without have access to the Administration Area !

Short answer is you can not.

There is a module in the Market that will limit what an Admin can do in the backend.  Dolphin 7.1 does not support moderators although you will find moderators in areas of the code if you do any code editing.  Moderation is done through membership levels.  You can set up a Moderation membership level and manually assign it to members you want to be able to do moderation on the site.

|Honestly since i quit boonex 4 years ago ! thing's still probably the same , bug's ,errors on site never end and they will never end for some weird reasons !

Again so many people have asked to have those options added but never done ! Also i hoped one day to see at least a rich market directory full of modules paid and free but it never happen !

The only thing that bring me over here is the strong supporting community that believe in each other and hope one day boonex saga will come to a happy ending !

There is a module in the Market that will let you use a key-pass on the admin section.  So you could make someone an admin but not give them the key-pass combination so they would not be able to log into the backend.  I will search the Market to see if I can find it.  I would test with another admin account to make sure you are completely locked out of the admin.

This is a free module, so no cost to see if it would work in your situation.
