Adding Outline and Spy Notification to a Module.

I have a module that imports posts from rss feeds to the blogs but it does not add to the Outline or Spy Notifications when a post is imported.  Can anyone tell me how to add those two so that when a blog post is imported it will put it on the Outline and Spy?

The developer of the module I was going to try and add this to has told me he will do it for me.  Thanks Modzzz.
