Add H1 H2 to each Boonex page

Hello
What file do we have to alter in order to add H1 and H2 heading to each page?

Question, have you been studying Dolphin, reading through the forums, etc?

Yes. I searched the forum and I haven't found anything. We used screaming frog spider to analyze our website and over 99 percent of the site's pages is missing H1, H2, H3.

Question, have you been studying Dolphin, reading through the forums, etc?

Where should those heading tags be?

If you want to place a block of text on each page; under the header and menu, you can use the promo block in admin; just delete the default block there and add your own code.

You need to be more specific about what the problem is.  Header tags can be anywhere.

You say you want these heading tags to each page, that does not make sense to me.

H1, H2 is missing in alot of the pages. Search engines look for Heading 1 and Heading 2 in order to rank the site higher on search engine results. H1 and H2 headers are missing for the website uploadyourdog.com. Thanks for inquiring.

Can you point me to some documentation?  I have no idea what you mean.  Are you talking about meta tags?

 We're talking about Heading 1 and 2.

OK, you are talking about html heading tags, <h1>Some Text</h1> <h2>Some More Text</h2>

These are markup tags and you use them where they need to be used.  I doubt that google ranks according to how many html mark up tags you have on a page.

There is no place to just add these to a page; you add them where they need to be.  Let's say titles of a post use the h1 tag and subtitles use the h2 tag.

<h1>This is the title of the article</h1>

<h2>This is the subtitle of the article</h2>

<p>First paragraph of the article</p>

If you want to include heading tags when you don't have an heading, you would put them after the <body> tag.

I think I am somewhat understanding what you are asking for, albeit a little confusing. The concept of searching for h1 and h2 tags by search engines, is because h1 and h2 typically means "this is important or of value".

The way I understand it, and the way dolphin - as well as any other website - is, you have to determine what is important or of value and add your own h1 and h2 tags. Dolphin doesnt know what you determine as important or of value and as such cant automatically put h1 and h2 tags for your content.

So when you do an SEO test or check or whatever you are using, if you havent placed your own h1 and h2 tags to your content, then the search engines wont find any h1 or h2 tags.

There are some default language keys for some modules that include the h1 and h2 tags, but in these cases, they are determined by the developer of the module to be important and of value.
