Acents Language Files Translations Problems

People:

When i open the languages files with any edithor DreamWeaver (R), Notepad or Wordpad (either main lang or any modules lang files) all the

translations seems to be good with the correct acents for example for spanish.

Then when i import and compile that files, all the acents dissapear leving words incompletes...

All the files were saved with utf-8 encoding..

Any ideas how can i fix or find a clue to fix this??

That does happened to me when i install some mods with the es.php file. But it can be fixed via language manager.

my main spanish language using notepad++ is written normaly "cumpleaños" and it seems to work ok so far.
