I wonder how I can ask my members to confirm their account via their email address in order to finalize their registration

i did it like this admin panel settings/ Moderation Settings/ untick the top and bottom boxes your members will have to confirm email addy

Automatic profile activation after joining:
Do not change profile status after editing profile information:ONLY TICK THIS BOX
