AGGGHHHH Main menu is not working!

I need help my mmain menu has stopped Dropping down,

any suggestions!

 Could you be more specific? 

Looks like you have edited something, does not work in UNI as well.

Also the comet chat chat bar causes problems on 7.1.x,

is that the one updated for 7.1.x?

[edit] all three templates are the same, what did you last add to your site?

I edited one of the php pages to try and remove the annoying little breadcrumb sub menu as now cannot remember which page it was!!!

the comet chat bar is the latest 5.0 and bid not caused te problem as it was all working before I tried to remove the sub menu :'(

i'm gutted as the website was almost ready to launch!!!

if you have cPanel or can view the dates of the modified files in the working folder you might can tell the file(s) you last edited.

I'm relatively new to cpanel as I was used to webmin so not quite sure where to find that?

i could provide you with my details if that helps?

 If you removed the "breadcrumbs" you were in templates/base/css/top_menu.css?

Re upload that file if you know how.

Could have possibly been playing around with BsBaseMenu.php as well.

You need to keep track of the changes you make to your site.

I do keep a change log of changes and updates I make so I can refer back to it should such problems arise , but I made a school boy error and forgot to enter this one and moved onto creatong pages directly after.

i do believe it was the bxbasemenu I was adjusting , I didn't touch the CSS page though.

i did try uploading a replacement file and cleared the cache but it still doesn't seem to do anything. :(

Phew! Thanks guys !! - turned out to be the templates/base/bxbasemenu.php that i replaced and all is fine now.

How would i got about removing the breadcrum sub-menu all together ?? as is completely out of alignment on certain areas.
