A/V Chat Stream Video too small...

Hi,

I have a dedicated hosting and a running RMS 7.1 clean install.

I just installed a clean boonex 7.1.4 and added chat module.

In "Flash Apps" setting, RMS is properly set with the IP and ports.

A/V chat setting are by default : video quality 100% and video broadcast FPS 25.

•••• HERE is the problem :

On the side of the broadcaster, the video is really good

*BUT* at the other side, it look very small and when I click fullscreen it's awful.

Some how, it's like the broadcast is 140 pixels x 140 pixels or something like that....

• Is someone knows if it's a server side (like RMS config) issue or boonex (the .swf) issue ?

• Is there a way to control or choose the broadcast pixels or choose video codec ?

how many MP is your web cam and how fast is your internet connection ?

I agree the quality is not the best but the two above points make a big difference as well.

The A/V chat flash apps have not been updated in years. I first tried it in 2008 and I thought, "oh god, it's too buggy and new so I figure I'll give it a few years..."... well, now I'm back and it's just about the same. It's pretty disappointing.

I don't know if you know that, but click on bottom right screen of another person's video to undock it. Play with the options. Don't bother with 75% quality as it's too pixeled.
