500 error after submit on join.

I am getting a 500 error after pressing submit on join. All my modules are compatible with that latest version. I checked the cpanel error log and nothing is there that would cause this. I have no clue. I just switched servers but the host tools in admin is all ok. Is there anything else I should do in whm? the users that were already signed up can log in, but new users can't sign up.

your error that you posted tells you exactly what is going on. You are missing a file that is apparently needed after joining. so you would need to upload the missing file:

/home/(mysite)/public_html/templates/(my template)/images/bg.png

you could try switching back to the UNI template, and then creating a new account. If all goes well, then the issue is with your custom template and most likely the missing bg image.

I re-uploaded the image and nothing happened. That image was deleted a long time ago. Also, I can't uninstall modules. It just takes me to a blank white screen.

try turning caching off, and clearing all caches, plus using the uni template. If all works well, then switch to normal template and see if things work. If so, then try turning caches on and see if it screws up then.

I renamed a module and now it works. It was a module. I'm glad though, I though it was a messed up database or something major. All is good.
