More than likely mod_rewrite isn't installed on your server. Go to host tools in admin and see what it says for mod_rewrite.

But I went to admin tools and I am getting a lot of warning signs. and the memory limit is a fail. How do I fix these warning and fail signs of the php software requirements? I listed the problems below. Thank you.

  • post_max_size = 8388608 - WARNING (should be >= 52428800)

  • php module: zip = - WARNING (should be module zip)

 

PHP accelerator = NO - WARNING

  • DB cache = On (File based cache engine) - WARNING (installing PHP accelerator will speed-up file cache)
  • Page blocks cache = On (File based cache engine) - WARNING (installing PHP accelerator will speed-up file cache)
  • Member menu cache = On (File based cache engine) - WARNING (installing PHP accelerator will speed-up file cache)

Looks like you need to recompile apache with xsl and zip then edit your php.ini to fix
