Hi,
I have a "little" big problem here...
I've just been sucessful changing from one server to the other. Everything is working just perfect EXCEPT... new users registrations...
I don't know what's happening because this was working in the moment I've set all up and now, after some hours, it's happening this.
So, this is what is happening:
People register in the website, no problem, but then it happens one of two things: 1 - User goes to DB and I can't see it in administration; 2 - or user doesn't go to DB and I can see it in administration.
This is really, really weird...
The other thing that happens is that I can only send, for instance, the confirmation e-mail request through administration to the old users I had (before transfering to the new server), to the new users I can't send it... or, let's say. I can, but they don't receive anything...
Does anyone have any clue on this one?
Btw, no errors shown in cpanel! :S
Weird....
Best regards, Pedro Lima |

Sounds like you may have a permissions issue on the cache folders. Light man a fire keep him warm for a night, light him ON fire & he will be warm the rest of his life |
Hi LeatherSportB,
Thanks a lot. And which folders do you suggest?
I've checked the folders "cache", "cache_public" and "tmp" and they're with 755 permissions. It happens that I don't need (and I can't) give 777 permissions in this server as it deals with it automaticaly (don't understand how, but it does, maybe you guys know what I'm talking about).
Any other suggestions? The problems with registrations continue! :(
Thanks.

/cache/ and /cache_public/ are the cache directories.
