*FaceBook Import Terrible!*

Current facebook connect in dolphin is bad - it does NOT import the users facebook email and other information to our social network.

It just imports the name and avatar.

This is bad because now we'll have members joining that may NOT fill in their emails.

Has anyone else fixed or modified this?

So far I have been waiting since last week for boonex or whoever it is to fix my messaging system in this forum - I cannot message others, so now i have email contact with them all instead.

Hi, I read it easrlier as u know, and now just thinking, I have the same 7.04 and ready to go dolphin as you do, may i ask though if your avatar is coming through from facebook?

silly question BUT maybe >>>  Have you got 'Enable site avatars' in >modules>.Avatar>Avatars Administration set to checked ?

1. Avatar is default module and he must be first installed
2. Facebook module process your avatar when he receive it

Last week was ok for two days, I could click on 'Send Message on let's say YOUR profile - and the text editor appears so just like the forum we fill it out and send it to you.

Over the weekend and since friday when i go to do that - it just opens a blankjpage, the text editor does not appear - just a blank page.

IO have run a virus scan, cleared everything, and even today I installed firefox  and still, blank page as if admin has turned this off.

So, if this problem happens only to you then something's wrong with your browser.
I can't tell you what exactly is causing it. I can only suggest you to try it in a different browser.
