The site is unique in that the material is essentially for general exhibition, but sometimes a member will post photos that are a bit over the top. It's still within the scope of the site's rules, but they're asked to make those photos "Friends Only". Other members are warned that by becoming a friend with someone, they 'could' be exposed to Adult Content. So far, so good.
Mistakes happen. As all photos are approved by admin, it would be great for admins to be able to see what privacy level the poster has selected for the photo during the approval process and to be able to change it if the privacy level is considered inappropriate.

Improvements to email (PM).

https://www.cheetahwsb.com/m/suggestions/view/Improvements-to-email-PM

https://www.cheetahwsb.com/m/suggestions/view/Improvements-to-email-PM

The biggest problem with the onsite email (Private messages) is finding something that you have sent to someone. There is no search feature in email and you can't set it to just show a conversation between you and a member. I used a module for Dolphin that helped a lot that showed just the dialogue between you and a particular member. https://www.boonex.com/m/dialogs

Built in editors

https://www.cheetahwsb.com/m/suggestions/view/Built-in-editors

https://www.cheetahwsb.com/m/suggestions/view/Built-in-editors

What I would like to see is the reliance on third party integration go away, such as: html editors, Embedly editors, IFramely Editors, Photo editing, etc. It would be nice to somehow have something similar integrated with Cheetah. It can easily get expensive these days having to purchase or use there services, which then hurts sites people make, because they can\'t afford such simple additions.
Competitors such as UNA, Dolphin, and a few other rely heavily on you having to go elsewhere to get these mentioned services.

Cron Job Manager

https://www.cheetahwsb.com/m/suggestions/view/Cron-Job-Manager

https://www.cheetahwsb.com/m/suggestions/view/Cron-Job-Manager

I am running into an issue helping someone with a Dolphin based site that appears to be related to a cron job running that is generating emails. This lead me to think about Cheetah cron jobs. Is there a Cron Job Manager being planned for Cheetah or would that be left to someone generating a module? Either way is OK with me because I don't think everything should be built into Cheetah; that is the road that UNA is taking, trying to be a Swiss Army Knife. I am happy with a good solid core and then leave the extras to developers.

Real Time Comments

https://www.cheetahwsb.com/m/suggestions/view/Real-Time-Comments

https://www.cheetahwsb.com/m/suggestions/view/Real-Time-Comments

Real Time Comments is nice; it allows discussion on a post; say a blog post, in real time between the members. I implemented this in Dolphin on an older version. I added a tick box so that real time comments could be paused because if there is a video embedded in the comments (if you allow that on your site) when the comment section refreshes, it restarts the video. I meant to look at a way to auto pause the real time comments when a video is started but just never found the time. Real Time Comments would be a nice improvement to Cheetah giving it something that other platforms already have. Interaction between members is what keeps a site active.
See the following discussions over at Boonex:
https://www.boonex.com/forums/topic/Real-Time-Comments-Revisted-Again.htm
You have to scroll down the page a bit. Getting help with Real Time Comments from AlexT was like pulling hen's teeth.
https://www.boonex.com/forums/topic/Real-Time-Comments-Comment-Edit.htm
The other part is to have comments expanded by default; which I also implemented and which was also almost impossible to get an answer from Boonex even though dozens of members requested it.
